David Anderson LEED® AP
Executive Vice President/Principal
(714) 975-7674
Dave is Executive Vice President of NRES, and oversees the Project Management Division of the company.
- In 2008, Dave began the construction management assignment for a 5-story, Class A office project with challenging overall development costs. By renegotiating the general contractor's terms and taking advantage of the competitive bid environment for a 3-floor anchor tenant build-out, Dave reduced the overall project costs by $2 million.
- For a large local manufacturing company, Dave negotiated an owner prime contract agreement using a creative contract structure beyond the normal general contractor's scope of work. This creative solution resulted in extensive savings on cost and schedule, thus allowing the project to be built.
Dave's career in project and development management spans 25 years. Prior to joining NRES, Dave held senior management positions as Commercial Operations Manager for
MBK Construction Ltd./Birtcher Construction Company. He was responsible for all pre-construction services, development of preliminary budgets and construction schedules, coordination and development of contract documents, and construction management for a variety of clients.
Dave has expertise in project conception, site investigation, entitlement processing and procurement, design development, estimating, value engineering, construction supervision, and management and general contracting for a myriad of building types. These include high-rise offices, senior housing, golf clubhouses, hotels, warehouses, cold storage, manufacturing and movie theaters.
