Jim is a seasoned project manager with NRES' Field Services Team who has excelled at successfully managing complex fast-track projects. His detailed and thorough style is evidenced in his key accomplishments, which include:

• In 2009, Jim completed an assignment overseeing the development of a new 700,000 S.F. corporate headquarters for Mag Instrument, Inc. The manufacturer of Maglite flashlights consolidated 11 buildings throughout the City of Ontario. The new improvements integrated an electrical substation, a multi-rail crane system and an underground flume to facilitate their manufacturing processes. Through an aggressive value engineering program, NRES saved Mag Instrument $7.1 million, representing a 10% savings of the original construction budget.
• Jim recently completed the build out of a new regional office for the U.S. Secret Service. This project required highly sensitive coordination and planning with the Secret Service, as well as the U.S. General Services Administration. The improvements included ballistic proof construction and sophisticated security and surveillance systems. Despite tenant delays and scope changes, NRES was successful in turning over the finished improvements three weeks ahead of schedule, saving the tenant rent obligations on two office spaces.

Since 1992, Jim has successfully completed a wide range of product types in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining NRES, he worked for Majestic Realty, Catellus Development Corporation, and MBK Construction Ltd./Birtcher Construction Company, where he delivered high level services to variety of notable clients. This list includes AMC Theatres, Ford Motor Company, Hilton Hotels, Sport Chalet, and Dana Bluffs Senior Living.

Jim's career has included working as an Owner, Developer and General Contractor. As a result, his ability to clearly identify his client's goals and necessities has been a valuable asset.
